In this episode the BREIA mentors talk about the advantages and disadvantages of investing in HOA properties. This episode was inspired by a recent deal with one of the BREIA mentor students. The property was located in Davie and the profits were about $20,000 and would have been more if there weren’t any HOA dues in arrears that had to be paid at closing. We see more HOA property flips in Miami Dade than we do in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. But if there is a profit to be made, we will flip single family homes, townhomes, or condos in any county here in South Florida.
