Learning as an investor that sometimes you are going to lose a deal from circumstances that are out of your control. You have to be willing to accept the fact that as a wholesale real estate investor, there are situations where you will not get the property in contract or you will not get the property sold. So you have to learn this is a part of flipping properties. You cannot let it slow you down. As they say…”Don’t put all your eggs in one basket!”. Antonio Lopez, the new Director of BREIA and the MD-REIA, talks about a deal he lost because the homeowner waited too long to reach out for his help and the property sold at auction for DADE County. We also had a student that came by for his share of the profits of a deal we flipped wholesale to one of our international buyers. So it does go to show, you may lose some but we absolutely win more!
